A Poet’s Pocket: Emily Dickinson’s Dress

A poet’s pocket: Why did I photograph this side view of the dress worn by the poet Emily Dickinson, on display at the Emily Dickinson Museum, Amherst, MA? Because I loved discovering that she had a special pocket for her notebook sewn on her dress (by the cuff of the sleeve).
