Grand Woman Suffrage Parade

March 3 is the centennial of the Grand Woman Suffrage Parade in Washington, DC, an extravaganza–8, 000 women marching, floats, six golden chariots, brigades of women on horseback, including Inez Milholland on the glorious white horse depicted on the “Official Program Woman Suffrage Procession.” On Sunday, 3/3/13, there will be a Centennial RE-enactment down Pennsylvania Avenue. I’ll be there with Sophie, my 9-year-old granddaughter, who is hoping there will be horses, but says it doesn’t matter if there aren’t any. Here’s a link: http://suffrage-cenntennial.org/
