Monday morning, Sept. 7, 1914, in Pensacola, FL, newspaper readers found a 12-page “Equal Suffrage Edition” in their newspaper the “Pensacola Journal.” Here are two images from that edition:
“Votes for Women” radiate around Liberty;
the adrift-on-a- raft-working woman with the $6 pay check is surrounded by shark fins labelled: clothes, rent, laundry, food.
